- NNeilVIPCalgary / Southern Alberta •4 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoOutstanding food and service experience. Al Fresco dining was divine, two musicians created a delightful background music effect, while random fireworks could be seen over Banderas Bay (as close as the Malecón and as far away as the Marina near Shangri-La). The combination of tasty tapas (good sized portions), professional and attentive service (gracias Jesus - our server), and expansive rooftop views (top two floors, 4th and 5th, access via elevator) created an extremely favourable impression reminiscent of two other dining favourites, namely La Capella and Hacienda San Angel. Bravo Barcelona Tapas on your continued success.More infoBarcelona Tapas - Puerto VallartaPrice: Very Expensive• Spanish• Puerto Vallarta•4.8
- KKarenVIPPuerto Vallarta •11 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThis was our first time to The Iguana, and it was absolutely incredible from the time we walked into the door to our lovely hostess, the view, the atmosphere, and our amazing server, Aldo. With Aldo’s incredible suggestions we enjoyed the squash blossoms, the pumpkin soup (mind blowing), the local fish and the Angus fillet. Thank you for giving us an amazing evening and looking forward to seeing you guys next year. - SsherryVIPDenver / Colorado •8 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWe had a great experience from the time we checked in. The view was great, the food was fresh and tasty, and our waiter was fantastic. It was my friend's birthday and they did a nice job of recognizing it without embarrassing her. They even called a taxi for us when we were ready to leave. This will definitely be on our agenda for our annual visit to PV.More infoEl Dorado RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Puerto Vallarta•4.6
- BBobDenver / Colorado •14 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoTintoque has very flavorful and interesting food. I would highly recommend this place for foodies. We sat on the back patio, which overlooks a dry river bed (it could be wet during the rainy season). The patio is nicely done and comfortable. Even though it was a cool night, there was an oscillating fan running, which was a little loud and distracting, but otherwise, the patio was very nice. Our wait staff was very attentive. We started with margaritas and then ordered a bottle of Italian wine. The wine list is extensive, and more expensive than expected, which seems typical for Mexico. The best part was the food! They brought a nice muse bouch. There were two of us, and we ordered two items for sharing and then two entrees. All courses were very generous and we could have shared fewer items. The dishes were very creative and well-presented. We highlight recommend this place.More infoTintoquePrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary Mexican• Puerto Vallarta•4.8
- RRonDenver / Colorado •3 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoTop notch setting with the historic church within immediate view. Book prior to sunset and it's spectacular! A main dining area with domed painted ceilings and expansive patios for outside seating. Multiple talented violinists set a very romantic tone. Stay long enough and the Pirate Ship will shoot fireworks in front of the patio. We were not rushed and service was superb, the main entree was good, not great. My wife's octopus was slightly over done, not tough but not as tender as we have had at other world class places. My Seabass was also good, not great. Had better Seabass at Puro Peru. The atmosphere made up for the slight food issues. I felt the price was fair for our experience. Would go back and try some other menu items.More infoLa CappellaPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Puerto Vallarta•4.8
