Best Neighborhood Gem Restaurants in Kansas Speedway

My buddies and I come to Grunauer about twice a year. The food last night was really exceptional. I had the SCHWEINEHAXE and was delicious. Tender pork with a great dumpling and cabbage that was sweet. We had the WÜRSTLTELLER appetizer and the brats were perfect. Crispy skin and a great pop when you cut into them and still juicy inside. They come with a big pretzel with mustard, pickles and pickled beets. My friends had the BAUERNSCHMAUS and it was so good. Pork belly smoked perfectly! We had desserts and they were excellent. The drinks and beer are stellar as well. Gabby was our server and she was very attentive. Kept our drinks full and looked after us. All in all, a great experience again!!

Great service. Beet salads we ordered were perfect. One filet was great and the sliced filet with mushrooms unfortunately was poor. It was like it was cooked/ poached as the sides were all very tough. The center slices were okay but it was hard to cut and chew the outside slices. Filets are not usually like this. Rest of meal was good though.

Susanna was excellent! The 4 different entrees were creative, tender, well executed & delicious. The wine, appetizer & birthday dessert were divine. Thank you to the front & back of house for exceeding my birthday dinner expectations! Bravo

As always my experience at GCF&B was exceptional. The gentlemen who prepares the omelettes and prime rib provide excellent quality service.

Fantastic experience! Loved the live jazz in the background. The Bar was awesome & dining experience outstanding!!
