Caprese and Beet salads terrific Bread was excellent Pasta and Ciopinno were fabulous Great desserts Wine list extensive We had a Zin from a winery in Placerville which was smooth and flavorful Waiter was very professional and very attentive Whole experience was special to celebrate a birthday Pricy but clearly the most elegant restaurant in Davis

Food and service was fantastic, ambience couldn't be better.

Fabulous dinner - food quality was spectacular. Service was superb. Will definitely be back more often! Best price on white truffles!

We stopped by Ella's bar for appetizers and drinks at the bar while waiting for a friend. Claire W, working the bar, immediately made us feel at home. Cocktails, wine, and a couple of small plates, and everything was perfect. Super yummy, nicely presented, perfect portions. Claire answered all our questions, gave us good insight into what to expect from the small plates, and her wine recommendations were spot-on. Claire also has the perfect personality for the hospitality industry. Warm, open, patient, knowledgeable, and fun. We loved her!!! Next time we fly in to Sacramento, we're definitely heading to Ella's. You should too!!!

This place is amazing. If you want a nice non-flashy and cozy amazing date night. This is the place to go to.  it has such a welcome home feel with a nice upper classified. I will be returning to this place in the future.
