Best Japanese Restaurants in Richmond

Came here for a rare night out with my husband and thoroughly enjoyed it! Arrived a bit early for our reservation and had a drink at the bar while waiting for our table. The ambiance was nice; dim without being overly dark and the noise was moderate despite a fully packed bar area and dining room. Food was superb…we ordered the coconut shrimp (not my favorite, but my husband loved it), spicy tuna roll (excellent), the ribeye and the roasted chicken were equally delicious. I think my favorite aspect of our visit was the service. Friendly and attentive from the moment we walked in, especially considering it was a busy holiday weekend. Can’t wait to return!

Going to Benihana‘s is always a nice experience. It’s gotten to be so expensive! This is not something that I will regularly do due to the cost, but the flavors are there and the experience is nice.

The best sushi place!! The food is phenomenal and so fresh and delicious. A perfect date night spot and you’ll love everything you order. The shishito peppers are a must, the sauce is so good to dip the sushi in. Can’t wait to go back again!

We did the all you can eat option, and loved it. Their spicy cucumber and the spicy shrimps were my favorites! It’s a bit expensive so I might not do the all you can eat that often, but for special occasions, I’d definitely consider this place.

We had an amazing birthday dinner for my daughter! The manager was very present from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The bar tenders were super attentive. Great drink recommendations. The food and presentation was awesome as always! Our server Dorris was amazing! She was very kind and patient! We loved our evening and can’t wait to return!!!
