- DDavidvipSan Francisco Bay Area •9 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 15, 2024I wish we lived closer to this restaurant because it never fails to delight. Vincenzo runs an 'old school' restaurant, which is my highest praise. Classic and new dishes, well prepared, excellent ingredients, and a classic yet modern feel. Service is warm and impeccable, because, Vincenzo.More info888 Ristorante ItalianoPrice: Moderate• Italian• San Carlos•4.9
- CChitraSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews4.0Dined on Nov 12, 2024It was a quiet, Monday night with only a cuple of other tables occupied. Service was prompt but low-energy and not very warm/friendly. I put it down to the slow business of the evening, and am hoping that it will be different on other occasions. The tea leaf salad was less flavorful than all our previous experiences, but it remains a family favorite!More infoRangoon Ruby Burmese Cuisine - San CarlosPrice: Moderate• Burmese• San Carlos•4.8
- DDanielvipSan Francisco Bay Area •129 reviews4.0Dined on Nov 9, 2024Dinner was a mixture. My Keftedes Saltsa, three ground lamb and beef meatballs in a tomato sauce topped with yogurt was delicious. The other diners had the Avgolemono soup which they said was quite tasty. My entree, Beef Souvlaki, two skewers of marinated tenderloin, though a bit salty, was indeed tender, very flavorful, and cooked to a medium rare, as requested. The only disappointment was the Moussaka, a baked casserole of roasted eggplant, zucchini, potatoes and béchamel sauce with rice, and thus is a vegetarian version of the classical dish made with ground beef. Fine for vegetarians, but it was not memorable. Wish that they would make the traditional dish. Service was excellent. Corkage is $25.00.More infoPYLOS - San CarlosPrice: Moderate• Greek• San Carlos•4.5
