Best Restaurants for a Quick Bite in Downtown

As always, the food was excellent. Our server, Vanessa, was wonderful. We always enjoy dinner at D'arcy McGee's before a show at the NAC.

This place is truly a hidden gem! The ambiance is intimate and stylish, making it a perfect spot for cocktails and small plates. We tried a few delicious cocktails, each expertly crafted, along with some tasty entrées that did not disappoint. However, the restaurant started emptying out before 9:30 PM, giving the impression that they were closing, which cut our evening short. It would have been nice to linger a bit longer. Overall, a great experience for a night out—just be mindful of the timing!

Had a great time at Parlour celebrating a birthday! Staff were incredible, atmosphere was lively! Food and drinks were fantastic, would love to see another veg option in the future.

State & Main in Gloucester is my go-to spot for a delightful dining experience. The atmosphere is perfect for catching up with a friend or enjoying a date night. The service has always been wonderful, with attentive and friendly staff. The Pink State Mint cocktail is a standout, blending gin, St. Germain elderflower liqueur, dragon fruit, cucumber, lime, mint, and soda, a refreshing and flavorful choice. I consistently order the Pistachio Crusted Salmon; it’s always cooked to perfection, with a delicious maple butter drizzle. The Baja Brussels Sprouts appetizer is also a must-try, craveable and full of flavor. Overall, State & Main offers a consistently amazing dining experience that keeps me coming back.

Best burger in Ottawa by far! Very happy I found this place!
