The table service was attentive and prompt, with excellent attention to guest issues such as allergies and dietary preferences. The food, when it arrived, was delicious: original, creative combinations of ingredients showing excellent technique and good flavour. We all appreciated the highlighting of local ingredients. However, the food was very slow to come out of the kitchen. We arrived around 7:30, and did not receive our main dishes until almost 9:00. The kitchen was obviously backed up, even though it was a weeknight and the restaurant was not full.
