Best Restaurants for Handcrafted Cocktails in Jerry's Nugget Casino

The dining room is a little plain (ambience 4), but that's OK. It's a cool 5* just being at the DJT. We ate dinner three times during our hotel stay and the food was excellent. This is one of the few restaurants who got the burger right - I asked for medium rare and they nailed it. The fish and chips was also very satisfying. Old fashioned was tops. Service was also excellent and to DJT standards.

Talk about fantastic - the drinks were excellent, balanced and refreshing without sacrificing alcohol content. A member of our party wanted a sweeter drink and the wait staff was happy to recommend a modification to one of their drinks that turned out delicious. Very happy we stopped by!

When I booked the reservation online, I did not know it was a speakeasy. As we dressed up for Valentines, arrived at the location. My jaw dropped. Thinking I made reservations for an ice cream parlor? Yikes. We walk in and timidly ask if we were in the right location? Slightly embarrassed to be over dressed for an ice cream parlor. The host, quietly standing in the corner greeted us warmly. She radioed to someone, and said "They are here." A moment of notoriety was felt instantly. Hidden behind the refrigerator door, you step into an environment that is Classy. Cozy. Romantic. With a subtle touch of eccentric vibe. The service was great. Every one involved flowed flawlessly. As if they actually enjoyed their jobs? Amazing concept. Staff was eager to please. Prompt on service. And helpful through recommendations of food and cocktails. Talking about cocktails, we only had one. Because we wanted to try one before sharing a bottle of wine. That cocktail, was amazing. You can taste the unique blend of flavors, and dark cherry cocktail that actually tasted good. The French Kiss. Good job The food, we ordered the fish and chicken entrees. The flavors for each entree was amazing. The sauces complimented each plate and ended the night wonderfully. Fish was my favorite. Thanks for the great Valentines experience.

We went for brunch. The server was outstanding.. The environment was good, the music level could’ve just been a little bit lower as we were there for brunch and it was hard to hold a conversation due to the music. The food over all was good. I got the chicken biscuit. The biscuit was a little tough. Otherwise the food had good flavor. We had two therapy shots and they were good as well.

Our team had a great time at RedTail while watching the Ohio State Buckeyes secure the National Championship over the fighting Irish!
