Located in the heart of Gramercy in the restored Assembly Hall of the landmarked United Charities Building, Hawksmoor is a steak restaurant that celebrates all-natural, pasture-reared, and traditionally dry-aged beef. Our beef is seasoned simply with sea salt and cooked over live-fire charcoal. Our seafood is locally and sustainably sourced from northeastern waters and we use small-farm produce whenever possible.     Chez Fifi did not disappoint! We had an exceptional experience from the French martini to the chocolate mousse, each dish was better than the next. The dining room has a certain je ne sais quoi and made for a lively dinner. The service was great too!

    My wife and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary at Hawksmoor last night. The ambience, service and the food were exceptional. For appetizers we had the scallops ( best dish of the night ) and the potted beef. For our main we went with the porterhouse for two and the beef fat fries. Steak was cooked perfectly and the fries were amazing. For dessert we had the pavlova and a anniversary surprise.

    My kids (9 and 11) took the lead on this brunch review. They insisted we need to add it to our NY rotation. My son was especially appreciative of the cookie with the candle at the end for his birthday. The grown ups loved it too, food, view, vibe and service.

    Lovely room with high ceilings and a barn-like feel. I ordered the branzino and it was to die for. Excellent service as well. A lovely choice for the Upper West Side. We'll be back!
