- GGeseniaWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThe place was very small but the ambience was very pleasant. The food was phenomenal and staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the place. The food took the show because everything tasted so good. We went for their Valentine’s Day five course dinner. We started off with the honey rosemary cornbread, delicious and perfectly balanced. Then we had the melon salad and the Caesar salad, they both were remarkably delicious. Then we had the charred oysters and stuffed shrimp, cooked beautifully. For our main course we both had the seafood risotto and the scallops were cooked to perfection. I’ve been to five star/Michelin star restaurants and they’ve never been cooked to such perfection like this. For dessert we had the peach cobbler pudding and creme brulee cheesecake. The bread pudding had great taste but not much of peach flavor and the texture was a bit on the dryer side to my liking. The cheesecake was the perfect combination. Overall this place is a must go to. I will be recommending it to everyone and will visit again. Thank you for all you do!More infoFlavorturePrice: Expensive• American• Woodley Park•4.2
- NNatVirginia •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had an amazing evening. The food was amazing. Thank you to Fernando, who made the night unforgettable. His attention to detail and warm hospitality made us feel like we were the only people in the restaurant. He anticipated our needs, made thoughtful recommendations, and added a personal touch that elevated the entire evening. It’s rare to find such genuine service these days, and Fernando truly made us feel at home. We can’t wait to return! Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and an even better experience.More infoFilomena RistorantePrice: Expensive• Italian• Georgetown•4.8
- SstewartWashington, D.C. Area •2 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThey have had since 1856 to perfect the art of service. They have not wasted a bit of that time. We had a server and he was fantastic. With that, the entire brigade worked as a fantastic machine and supported the goal of quick and perfect service for the guest. I have never had apps arrive so quickly at a restaurant before. I even threw another order in while ordering our main course and it was on the table 2 minutes later. The quality of the food is top notch as well. The roast beef sandwich had a bit of bite on it that was unexpected but definitely not unappreciated. As I was dinning with my 13 year old son tonight, I also appreciated the non alcoholic options on the drink menu. It was great to have a delicious option that wasn't a soda. Overall, this is a MUST for any visit to DC.More infoOld Ebbitt GrillPrice: Moderate• American• Downtown•4.8
- AArcherWashington, D.C. Area •24 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 2, 2025It was Restaurant week and a perfect opportunity to return to one of out favorites. We began with a glass of wine, Carmenere for me and and Rose Figuiere for her. For starters I had Salmon Tartar and my girlfriend had Roasted Beet Carpaccio. Both were beautifully presented and my dish was delicate with a variety of complex flavors. For my main coarse I had the Brazed Lamb Shank. It was tender falling off the bone and easily separated with a fork. I must say the portion was generous and delicious. I wound up taking some home for a second meal and to leave room for desert. My girlfriend had Pan Seared Branzino which was also a generous serving and delicious. My desert was the Tiramisu. My girlfriend who is not a big eater let me have her desert to go along with my take out. The service was prompt and cordial with Rosi as our serve who was attentive without being obtrusive.
