Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Northwest Columbus

Our brunch was very good. One of the best French toast meals I’ve had in awhile. Only negative was that the spiced honey rolls weren’t very good. They were pretty hard. Other than that everything was very good!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cilantro for Valentine’s Day, and it was such a fantastic experience! This place really stands out with its unique Latin fusion cooking—it's as authentic as Venezuelan food gets, fresh and absolutely delicious. Unlike many other Latin fusion spots, this one doesn't just serve a Mexican take; it offers something truly different. The decor was lovely—understated yet elegant and warm, creating a perfect atmosphere for the evening. The live music really added to the ambiance, making it feel even more special. I loved how they decorated for Valentine’s with single roses hanging from the ceiling among the green wall decor; it was such a nice touch! For our dinner, we enjoyed a special five-course tasting menu paired with a tropical cocktail, all at a surprisingly reasonable price—definitely a welcome change from the pretense of other top chef-inspired places. A big shout-out to our charming waitress, Alexandra, who was fantastic at explaining each course and checking in on us throughout the night. Overall, Cilantro made for a truly magical Valentine’s dinner. I highly recommend it!

We absolutely loved our visit here. Food was amazing, presentation, taste. Waiter was amazing even manager when I had issue with my payment. We will definitely be back for chicken and waffles. The banana pudding Lordt it was the bomb.

Had a wonderful experience for our first visit to The Capital Grille. We were seated in a side room and really enjoyed the noise level as it was quite moderate. Everything was well prepared and the service was on point with Tacuma being our main server. He was the perfect amount of helping when we needed him and disappearing when we were dining. We also enjoyed his sense of humor and he suggest the steak I enjoyed which was the bone in filet. Black garlic crusted and the temp was a perfect mid-rare. He also brought me a glass of wine with my steal which I thoroughly enjoyed. We started off with the tuna tartare fantastic fresh fish and wonderful presentation, my wife then enjoyed her beet salad and French onion soup which she declared the best in the city. With my steak we also enjoyed the potatoes augratin and creamed corn both very tasty. As for dessert, we shared a brûlée cheesecake with an amazing fresh strawberry sauce and fresh berries. All in all a wonderful evening. We will return.

I love this place! I dined here alone in October after looking for a place that made fresh pasta every day. The focaccia is sublime and I could drink the olive oil.The cacio e pepe was spot on. Tonight, I returned with my aunt and uncle and it did not disappoint! Among the three of us, we were able to order most of the menu so we could each try each dish. The service is impeccable and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is friendly, cozy - along with a food and the wine what a wonderful place to spend an evening. I can’t wait to return and, hopefully, introduce more people to this lovely hidden gem. Don’t hesitate! Make a reservation 😋
