Best Restaurants with a Tasting Menu in Caldwell

Where to begin, this was a special dinner and I really wanted everything to go perfect. Having chosen the garden igloo I was a little apprehensive how things would go. Upon arrival we were escorted to the garden and found the table and setting in the special igloo along with some lightly falling snow to be enchanting. It was like eating in a giant snow globe. The service was exceptional. Adrien was the best host and we were even introduced to the chef when we left. The food was amazing, every course was just perfect in preparation, taste and presentation. the valentines price fixe dinner was very good. crab cake appetizer delicious. husband had lamb carpacio and then venison which he said were both reallly good. i had the halibut and it was delicious. parking is easy and restaurant is not too noisy.

Solidified as my new favorite location. Capital Grille has a great reputation for style, service and quality so I’m not totally surprised by our great dinner today but I will say this location went above and beyond for Valentine’s Day! Special thanks to our server, Matt for being a rock star with attentiveness, great communication, friendliness and charm. He took care of us without missing a beat. We ordered the Filet and Lamb Chops both seasoned and cooked to perfect. Also the new style of lobster and crab cake was amazing with the right sear and amazing flavor. The lobster bisque was creamy and well seasoned and the sides were a homerun (Sautéed Spinach and Mashed Potatoes). Thank you Parsippany location for showing out and putting on a great show. Clean and classy ambience left us walking away saying money well spent. Lots of parking and easy to find location.
