Best Vegan Restaurants in Honolulu

Food was delicious, and loved the ambiance with the live music, dim lighting, and the restaurant being right next to the ocean. Me and my wife went on Valentine’s Day and we were able to get in right at our reservation time. She had the margarita pizza and I had the ribeye with jalapeño mashed potatoes and Swiss chard. The jalapeño mashed potatoes were incredible and so was the rib eye, which was cooked perfectly medium and tasted better than most nice steak houses I’ve been to. I would always recommend monkey pod to people looking for a good place to eat with a nice environment and setting.

While a somewhat limited menu is offered, there are excellent choices. The black cod was delicious as well as the scallop appetizer. The drink choices were great and the space itself is friendly and vibrant. Great location for wandering as well!

We had a wonderful Valentine’s Day. We sat on the rooftop and it was beautiful and had a slight breeze which kept it really comfortable. We had a fantastic server who stayed on top of everything. We ordered the Lobster Spring Rolls and Blue Crab cakes for appetizers and they were delicious! Then for dinner we both had Crab Bisque and the Filet Dinner. Outstanding. My steak was ever so slightly overcooked, but the flavor and tenderness were superb! We ordered the Pineapple Crème Brûlée and Key Lime Pie to go. Both were excellent, but beware…that Key Lime is RICH! I totally recommend this place for date nights, family dinner and just a nice place to relax and have a great meal.

We usually book reservations for special occasions. The food is fresh and tasty. Such a delightful experience to choose from. Wide variety of wines from Napa Valley and surrounding regions. The Old World international wines are refreshing. We always book early, seating can be limited. Book and Enjoy!

From the time you anxiously arrive till you reluctantly depart, the level of customer service, appreciation, attention to detail, food presentation, how our server describes what we’re about to enjoy, the food quality and timing of all courses is highly orchestrated. The prix fixe menu inclusive of fine wines is available in both veg and non-veg options. This restaurant is a must for any foodie when visiting Honolulu.
