- AAmeliaLos Angeles •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoSUPER IMPRESSED!!! Can’t wait to be back! The food were amazing. Our server were great as well. I believe his name is Michael. The service provided elevated our experience tonight. To the point I had to write this glowing review right away. We did the pre fixed menu. Out of everything the Tteok & Grilled King’s Cut Short Rib were the highlight of our dinner. We would come back just for those two items. Thank you for a great night!!!More infoYangbanPrice: Expensive• Korean• Arts District•4.7
- DDawnLos Angeles •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThat was the best meal I’ve ever experienced. Every dish had layers of flavors that were so delightful. I don’t have a refined palate to know where all of the flavors were coming from, but each bite was savored and appreciated. We ordered the naan, green beans, beets, chick peas fritters, poke, bass, short ribs noodles, pork belly, sesame cookie ice cream and the sundae. For drinks we had the goat fashioned, espresso martini, spa day, bees knees, and some Cadillac’s. There were four of us and there wasn’t a morsel left on any plate. The service was very friendly, attentive, comfortable and informative. The ONLY thing I would do different is make sure to get the naan first to scrape up every last bit of every sauce. If I could’ve gotten away with it I would have licked each plate clean ;) I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant for a very long time and tonight did not disappoint. I loved watching Chef Stephanie on Top Chef but have never had the chance to taste her food. And until tonight I’d never realized how truly elevated and special her dishes are. Thank you so much for an absolutely beautiful meal 💛More infoGirl & the Goat L.A.Price: Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown•4.7
- SSherylDallas - Fort Worth •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThis was our third time dining at "FIXINS" when we visited LA. From the first to this time, we're never disappointed! Food, Service, Drinks are on point and we look forward to dining there again! Our son joined us on this trip along with his girlfriend. He had eaten at "FIXINS" in Tulsa, OK. He loved his experience there. The appetizers are delicious (deviled eggs, pimento cheese, and the fried green tomatoes)! You can't go wrong with any of their entrees but we love the fried chicken! Definitely if you're in downtown LA definitely make it a destination. I would recommend making reservations as they are crowded on game days on weekends! You won't be disappointed! The DJ kept us enjoying great music while we ate! Love it!More infoFixins Soul KitchenPrice: Moderate• Soul food• Downtown•4.7
- SSandravipLos Angeles •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoLovely, welcoming restaurant as soon as we walked in. We were seated swiftly and our server was friendly and provided insights on the menu. We ordered a bottle of bubbly for mimosas, the flavored ice cubes kept the drinks tasty. The cornbread was fluffy and paired well with the butter. Shrimp and grits were packed with flavor, yet not heavy. French toast was on the drier side but the texture and flavor was on point. Loved the ambience and music. Definitely coming back.More infoJoycePrice: Expensive• Southern• Downtown•4.5
- GgeoffreySan Francisco Bay Area •39 reviews4.0Dined on Aug 25, 2024Restaurant was out of cornbread; however, the chef personally gave us some on the way out from brunch. Wish they offered real maple syrup. Appreciate if butter was not in disposable packaging (to help with environment). Chicken and waffles were good. Yams were a bit sweet; however good recipe and enjoyed them.More infoThe Pink TeacupPrice: Expensive• Soul food• Hollywood•4
