I had the soba noodles and added salmon. It was awesome. The others in my party had the vodka penne and gnocchi and they said it was awesome.More infoThe Smith – Penn Quarter, Washington, D.CPrice: Expensive• American• Penn Quarter•4.5

- EEmilWashington, D.C. Area •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoVisited The Monocle for the first time since going there while in college fifty years ago. I was in DC for work near the Capitol and had to make a pilgrimage to this landmark watering hole. It didn’t disappoint. There was the junior senator from my home state dining with her husband. The decor is cheerier than I remember, team serving means you’re never ignored, and the jumbo crab cake was perfect. Maitre D Nick has been there about as long and knows everyone.More infoThe MonoclePrice: Expensive• American• Capitol Hill•4.8
