Best Hot Spot Restaurants in Ormond Beach

This restaurant is beautiful. We understand they recently redecorated and it looks like a Moroccan scene with arched entryways and middle eastern style. A piano player fills the place with all types of music which is one reason you know you’re not in Algiers. The other is the fantastic menu items which were strongly American. We had a prime filet that was very tender and tasty and a two inch thick grouper that matched. The waitress had been there for four years and was able to cover her stations with easy. Always available and cheerful. This was a special occasion (birthday) and we were served a complimentary dessert. Wow! What a spectacular event for us!

I want to say this place has the most amazing food! My wife and I drove 1 hour to try this place and it did not disappoint at all. The service was flawless Melody was there like a genie anytime we needed something. Which is now my favorite server and will be requesting ! All her food suggestions was great ! Potato skins and Chrystal shrimp were full of flavor and spices ! Hurricane drink my wife loved ! I will be making this a place to travel often and bringing my followers as well! This place gives New Orleans love and feel! MELODY THANK YOU FOR MAKING OUR EXPERIENCE AMAZING !

This was our first time dining here, and it exceeded our expectations and then some! Our server was Elizabeth. She was so knowledgeable of the menu & recommended the Japanese milk bread, which is to DIE FOR! Definitely a must try when dining at F&D. It was Valentine’s Day, we were a little late for our reservation, but they were so kind & sat us with no problem at all. I was even given a rose for the occasion. Our sweet server, Elizabeth, gifted us a box of chocolate & sweet card at the end of the meal. If I could eat here for breakfast, lunch & dinner, I totally would. To start I ordered the French onion soup. 8/10 only because the cheese wasn’t as melted as I would like! But the taste was absolutely phenomenal. Portion size was 10/10, I couldn’t finish the bowl. I got the scallops for my main dish which were, more than amazing! Large & perfectly cooked. To drink I had an espresso martini, again, absolutely outstanding. Probably the best I’ve ever had. My husband had the NY strip blackened & I helped him gobble that down too. We shared a side of mashed potatoes. My man is picky with his potatoes and he gave them an 11/10. We left here stuffed, but not feeling terrible and sickly. We will definitely be regulars here. The price is not bad at all considering the quality and experience you are getting. Love this place!

Great food and service. It was pretty packed for Valentines Day, glad i made reservations. Was seated on the patio which was great. Service was amazing even though it was busy. Food was amazing, my wife had the crab stuffed salmon and I had the shrimp and scallops. Chocolate bread pudding was also great. Probably the best clam chowder I've ever had. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice night out.

all was good would like to see some Classic jazz onec in while its pretty much same all the time soft jazz fusion, funk, pop great American song book / vocals would be a welcome change with non-electric instruments
