Best Restaurants for People Watching in Art District on Santa Fe

best food and sservice!! feels welcoming every time-a wonderful place

The staff are incredible and the food is simultaneously simple and complex. Tastes that ring familiar at first but deepen and develop as you savor. They had our reservation held accurately and were not overly crowded. The wait between appetizer and entree was a bit lengthy, but since I was there with a friend, it made for some good chatting time.

Absolutely loved the ambience of this restaurant. It has a fun vibe for drinks and dinner. The beet salad was incredible as well as the sorbet. Felt like the gnocchi, the cod and the croquettes were just OK. None of those items wowed us. The wine pairing was outstanding and truly complimented the food. A table next to us received a great deal more attention than we did and one of our wine pairings was missed. They gave us a champagne instead when we let them know.

Our waiter was superb and our food was equally wonderful! I loved the loup de mer (branzino fish) with rice cake, perfect! Also the beet salad, as always, delicious! Thank you Bilboquet and our excellent waiter!
