Bodega SF is an evolution of Matthew Ho’s family's restaurant, Bodega Bistro, which operated from 2003-2017 out of San Francisco’s Tenderloin District, serving traditional Northern Vietnamese cuisine.     My first time there and was not disappointed. We had their breaking bread and could have eaten it all myself. Everything we had was shareable and all of the seasonings they used blended well. I can’t believe I’m raving about their little gem. Not boring at all. It was the best I’ve ever had. The Anatolian pasta and trout were equally fresh and excellent. Highly recommend for a special occasion or not. My compliments to the chef.

    Andy, our waiter was absolutely excellent, kind, friendly and warm. Hostess was also wonderful. The food and wine were marvelous! I was so thrilled to experience Andy’s thoughtfulness. It’s nice to see new staff with a true sense of hospitality.

    Taster menu is fantastic--come hungry! You will be amazed by the quality of the food, the design, the presentation and the incredible taste of each course. Fantastically creative cocktails and a perfect wine and beer pairing as well. Outstanding staff and experience from start to finish!

    Our server, Anton, was great! He was super attentive and timely. It was the best service ever received at any Benihana location. We were seated at our reservation time. The food portion was generous. The chef was entertaining and cooked the food well yet efficiently.
