Best Casual Restaurants in Leslieville / Riverdale

Favourite drink: Habibi (delish), favouritr main: Argula Halum topped with toast chicken. Ambience always electric and cozy. Staff amazing and friendly. Guests and staff always seems so hapopy to be there.

Winterlicious 2025. Semi-hidden restaurant on the second floor. Ambience is excellent - it’s modern but warm with comfortable touches like their couch seating that spans much of the northern perimeter. Regular menu is small and easy to choose from, wine selection offers plenty of choice. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. We had two servers and both were very friendly and attentive. Glasses were kept full of water which I appreciated. Food- I’ll start by saying it’s a 4 course winterlicious meal. There was a lot of food between the dips, mezze , main and dessert. I believe a floor manager or host recommended the Truffle Rakakat (spelling*) for the mezze portion. Not that the other food wasn’t great but, man oh man, the Rakakat was VERY good. If you like cheese, it’s a levelled up mozzarella stick. Mains were lamb and skewer plates. Both great and there was plenty of food, no skimping here! All in all, it was a great winterlicious experience here. Makes me want to come back for the regular service menu.

Joined the Guided Tequila Tasting dinner in Feb 2025. The hosts, Doug and Pamela were engaging, knowledgeable and very upbeat! The food was amazing and the chef came out multiple times to let us know what we were being served, and that was a nice touch! Definitely good value for your money. I left happy, knowing more about tequila, with a very full belly and a little buzz! Great night out! Thanks El Catrin! I would love to do this again!

One of my favourite places in Toronto, amazing food, great vibes, and the best team outstanding with customer service! 

Three of us went for winterlicious, we got to pick 4 different courses. Guacamole n chips, ribs, 2 tacos and churros is what I got. The ribs were delicious, fish tacos had a lot of cabbage and not enough fish but it was still tasty. The server was great. Overall a good experience.
