- AAnonymousMiami - Dade •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoIf you’re looking for the ultimate Italian-Mediterranean dining experience in Philly, Capri is the place to be. The restaurant’s heartfelt motto, “6 cousins, 1 table,” comes to life as the cousins—who also happen to be the bosses—work together seamlessly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that feels like dining with family. The food is extraordinary. The bone marrow linguine is a standout dish—rich, flavorful, and absolutely to die for. And don’t sleep on the cocktails they’re expertly crafted and the perfect complement to the meal. The ambience at Capri is pure magic. Thoughtfully designed with stunning photo spots throughout, it truly feels like you’ve been transported to the picturesque island of Capri. Every detail adds to the charm, making it an unforgettable experience. Capri delivers on all fronts: impeccable food, a welcoming vibe, very attentive staff and a setting that’s both chic and inviting. It’s an absolute gem, and I can’t wait to return!More infoCapriPrice: Expensive• Italian• Philadelphia•4.7

The mussels in white wine sauce were particularly delicious. The service was exceptional. I’ve been here a few times in the 70s/80s and it was fun to take our children there! ❤️More infoSaloon RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• South Philly•4.9
- CCherylPhiladelphia County •40 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoEvery single course was unique and delicious! Recommendation by our server ,Sean, on how to order was spot on. He also suggested the winter Negroni drink and it was fantastic! We started with the salted beets and the hiromasa crudo both were fresh and light. We had the skate cheeks, the texture of the fish was flaky and had a bit of crunch on top. The ricotta dumplings had my mouth watering from the smell as I broke open the first dumpling. It had the perfect amount of heat and a slight smokiness that was so freaking good you want to lick the bowl. Hubby ordered the veal osso buco and raved about it. I had the orata and it was flaky and delicious. Most places that excel at the main food are not so terrific with desserts but at Bastia both the panna cota and the basque cheesecake had unique flavors that were a perfect ending. Service was incredible and allowed us to have conversation but never missed a beat on clearing and presenting the next course. We’ve been to a lot of really good restaurants but Bastia is top 3 of them all. There are a lot of excellent restaurants in Philadelphia and we will choose to return to Bastia.More infoBastiaPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Fishtown•4.8

Both experiences were fabulous. Quality bartender and the table service team was top notch: professionally urgent, menu advice, flexible to small adjustments, on top of clearing and packaging to go, no time holes in waiting for food or drinks, EXCELLENT FOOD. I am embarrassed I lived in Philly for 21 years before coming here. I have been missing out. Will definitely be back.More infoBistro RomanoPrice: Moderate• Italian• Society Hill•4.8
