Best Casual Restaurants in Elgin

This was our second year in a row, but third Thanksgiving dining at this Cooperhawk. Our family really enjoyed the food, the music was great as well. Our server was Aden, and he was excellent. We've been enjoying scrumptious meals and fabulous wines at CH for over 26 years and tonight's meal was next level. We ordered the Surf & Turf (1 with lobster, 1 with shrimp) and swooned over every bite! We were celebrating our anniversary and every employee who made contact with us wished us a Happy Anniversary, and our server, Nellie R, even brought us each a free glass of bubbly for a toast! We felt welcomed, special, and had a most wonderful dining experience. Nellie was busy but made sure we were well taken care of and offered great recommendations. I'm a Wine Club Member and took home several great selections, 2 new wine glasses, truffles, and several bottles of Christmas Red Spiced Wine for our daughter in upstate NY...her annual Christmas gift request. Love CH!! P.S. Our reservation was on a Tuesday, at 4:30pm, and both the restaurant and wine tasting area were very full...that says a lot about how customers love this place! Everyone was happy and having a great time!!

This is fantastic restaurant. Their food and beverages are all excellent. We’ve never had a bad experience there. And service is always excellent.

The menu offered a lot of variety. Food quality was very good. Portion sizes were generous. Service was very good. Would definitely go back.
