Best Restaurants for Quiet Conversation in Prospect Lefferts Gardens

I love the view from the rooftop as well as the cocktails. An intimate experience with great music.

I must echo the comments of anyone who calls the alderman a hidden gem. It is truly a little oasis in the hub of Times Square with some of the best food and service I’ve had in a long while.  Everyone we encountered was professional, polite, friendly, relaxed, and service was on point at all times. A special shout out to Hersey at the bar and our server Ethan, who was just tremendous honest and very attentive, to the lovely manager, a young blonde woman whose name I forgot sorry. Had the perfectly prepared salmon and flirt steak entrees from the prix fixe menu plus ALL the other TASTY courses and they were very generous portions, very satisfying and a wonderful value. Cannot recommend this enough if you are going to a show or you just want to have an enjoyable evening dinner lunch or just a coffee from the front barista station. The ambience is warm and tasteful. Like sitting in a garden! Just terrific. You won’t be disappointed.

A Charming place. Great Vibe. A cozy neighborhood gem serving great food in a nostalgic atmosphere. A limited menu, but everything is prepared, cooked and presented perfectly. A great date spot. Perfect for a great unpretentious dinner with friends.

Great casual atmosphere. A bit noisy but not overwhelming. Food very good and service excellent.
