Best Lunch Restaurants in Wallingford

We had a wonderful experience and great food at the pink door!

Our wait person Nicole was knowledgeable, attentive and delightful. Our sommelier Eli made absolutely spot on and amazing recommendations to pair with our dinner choices! Best crab gnocchi ever!

Contender for Seattle's best Italian food. Infatuation has reviewed as more life-affirming than a night at the symphony, and it was a satisfied feeling leaving the restaurant. Service was very efficient, and it seems like a good sign when a server has been there for 4 years. The tajarin was delicate and flavor nice, although no visible or real flavor of the sage, but $33 could reasonably be $23. Rapini was nice and cavatelli was homemade and nice with broccoli as a vegetarian subsitute for rabbit. Choclate tart with hazelnut and cherry was a beautiful sight and worth returning for (and not over-priced). A good spot for anniversary.

I was beyond excited for the experience… food was good-OK… but the service even better!

We moved out of town 7 years ago, when this was a favorite brunch/lunch spot. Coming back for a long weekend, we couldn't resist trying it. Still yummy food. Same fun, neighborhood cafe/bar atmosphere. And also importantly, same great service. Some menu items have changed, but it's still extensive, and focused on freshly made food. The waffle with cheddar and bacon was excellent. Will be coming back when next in Seattle area.
