- DDaphneSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoHad our annual neighborhood anniversary dinner here; and were not disappointed! I had the grilled Kampachi with Asian chimichurri with grilled Brussels Sprouts and Broccolini, and he had the spicy Alaskan cod fish tacos, and our kid had the trio of ceviche and spicy ahi tuna poke appetizer samplers. Everything was tasty and excellent! Especially our kids' order and mine! Then, our server, a nice lady named Sonam kindly brought us a dessert menu where we chose the pineapple upside down cake and she recommended the coconut ice cream to go with it; and it was absolutely wonderful; we felt transported to Hawaii! The restaurant treated us to one dessert on our anniversary; which was so kind! We left a nice tip also! Decor was nicely upscale tropical for our anniversary too; and background music was pleasant and not too loud for a conversation. TVs were on to watch the all-star B-Ball. A perfect evening with the family!More infoPacific Catch San MateoPrice: Moderate• Seafood• San Mateo•4.8

- BBrendanSan Francisco Bay Area •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoWent on Valentine’s Day!!! had reservations at 8, showed up at 7:45 and didn’t get seated until after 9. You would think for a business that’s been open for so long they would have a system for seating during busy holidays. Our Chef James made the wait worthwhile though , he made great jokes and interacted with my son who gets shy in these types of situations. By far the best chef I’ve had here. thank you JamesMore infoBenihana - Burlingame, CAPrice: Moderate• Japanese• Burlingame•4.3
- CCarolSan Francisco Bay Area •8 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoVisited on V-day 2025 one day ahead. Semi-regular guest but pouring rain so expected more no-shows. Not at Sundance. Overall service was impeccable and especially our table service by Jeff. He's a veteran there and extremely knowledgable of the menu and wines including how dishes are cooked and his recommendations, after thoughtful discussion, were perfect. have experienced similar table service in the past. Bone-in rib eye was absolutely phenomenal and just slightly more so than the prime rib. We split the caesar salad which was a perfect size. Good choices for accompaniments including baked potato, mushies, etc. We don't remember the enjoyable special cocktails and wines by the glass but they all matched well! Oh, yes, before I forget, the Chocolate Sundae dessert was a must have and perfect finish. Thank you Galen, Tanner and Jeff.More infoSundance The SteakhousePrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Palo Alto•4.8
