- PPatriciaToronto / Ontario •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoThe Auberge du Pommier never disappoints. Over the years, we have enjoyed wonderful meals in the perfect ambiance at the Auberge. Tonight's experience was perfect in every possible way. Excellent staff, beautifully prepared delicious meals, elegant surroundings. I couldn't have improved on any aspect of our special event. We will be back.More infoAuberge du PommierPrice: Very Expensive• French• Midtown / Uptown•4.6

The price we paid was for two people, and so was the food - about half per person of what you get in a 'proper' tea. But the glass of champagne and the couple of items we added at extra cost made up for it, and overall it was still good value. Quiet too, which we liked, and the service was prompt but unobtrusive, which we also liked. The teas we chose were French, not English, although still based on black tea; the flavours though were clearly French, very floral and sweet (not to be confused with sugary), and they needed no milk or cream. Overall a very pleasant experience; we would go again.More infoLadurée TorontoPrice: Moderate• French• Yorkdale•4.4

Our savoury, scones and sweets were presented on a tiered plates; all pieces were tasty. We enjoyed the Sloane tea offerings which we all drink at home, só it was nice to enjoy it at The Old Mill. We will be returning to enjoy afternoon tea for the next season!More infoAfternoon Tea at Old Mill TorontoPrice: Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Bloor West Village•4.1

- SSeanToronto / Ontario •9 reviews4.0Dined on Feb 17, 2025I took my family to Astor Lounge for the High Tea. The aesthetic of the lounge is very nice. We were seated near a window and it was quite drafty, so they had some sort of space heater which blew out dry hot air, so that took away from the ambience a bit. The hostess was pleasant, but I wouldn't say she was proficient at explaining the high tea to us and we had to clarify how it worked. She also didn't seem particularly knowledgeable about the tea or the pastries/desserts. The tea and the food were great, however. Overall, I wouldn't say its an amazing value at $95 per person, but for the experience, it's reasonable for at least a one-time thing.More infoAstor LoungePrice: Moderate• Afternoon Tea• Financial District•4.4
