Best Restaurants for Foodies in Hicksville

Had a GREAT time here! Came here to celebrate valentine’s day and waitress was the nicest woman, super friendly and attentive!! We started off with the complimentary fresh bread and ordered these delicious mussels in white wine with garlic for an appetizer- the portion was HUGEEE too. For dinner, we had the broccoli rabe rigatoni and lobster ravioli—both generous portions as well and full of flavor!! As a nice touch, they gave us complimentary honey drenched muffins and rice pudding since it was our first visit. Definitely recommend for amazing food and great service!

Great service, wonderful selection of meats and salad bar and fabulous cocktails. We really appreciated that they did their best to seat us quickly and comfortably, although we were late for our reservation. We will be back to AG Steakhouse soon! Highly recommend this restaurant.

This is an update to a previous post where I gave a zero rating. I had the opportunity to dine here once again. Since my last dining experience, they hired a new General Manager to correct the issues they were having. While the food before was sub par there certainly has been a marked improvement and is excellent. The terrible service we had prior was a completed turn around. Juan and Lin treated us if we were family and royalty. Their attention not only to us but every other diner around us was impeccable. The new General Manager Joey came to the table several times making sure both the food and service was up to Scotto’s standards. My previous rating of zero is now a 5. Joey, Juan and Lin made sure our dining experience was top notch and an enjoyable evening both by the service and food. I will definetly go back.

One of my two favorite restaurants and what a bonus to have Orlando as our server. We have known Orlando since he started in Massapequa so so long ago. Through hard work and a glowing personality, he worked his way up in the Butera's family. Food was great as usual and portion size has remained remarkably large even with food prices soaring. I brought my long time friend here for a Galentine's dinner and it was perfect! We had a chance to really chat & catch up in a private but very fun space. The servers were lovely and more than happy to accomodate our "in no rush" timeline (on a Tuesday if course). It was the perfect spot for a cute dinner night out! Food was great, Italian is NOT her first choice but she loved it!
