Best Restaurants for Foodies in Little Italy

I loved the experience! I took my beautiful girlfriend there for our anniversary/Valentines Day and they were kind enough to write a little message on our dessert as per request. The food came out surprisingly faster than most restaurants. We got our food within 10-15 minutes when I excepted about 20-35 minutes with the amount of people there. I loved the vibe and will definitely come back again 🙌🏼

We had a fantastic time at Herb & Wood. Since we were both busy on Valentine’s Day, we decided to celebrate on Saturday instead. From the moment we arrived, everyone at the restaurant greeted us warmly and made us feel truly welcome. Our reservation was at 5 PM, so the restaurant wasn’t too crowded yet, but even as it filled up, the level of attentiveness remained exceptional. Our waiter, Troy, was friendly, knowledgeable, and offered great recommendations. For appetizers, we had the Sicilian Crudo and one of Troy’s suggestions—a warm dinner bread served with butter, honey, and herbs. I don’t remember the exact name, but it was absolutely delicious! For our main courses, my husband had the Iberico Pork, and I had the Roasted Branzino. The Branzino was packed with herbs and flavors—I usually can’t finish a large meal, but I couldn’t stop eating it. We were too full for dessert, though I wish we had saved room! It was our first time at Herb & Wood, but it’s now on our list of favorite restaurants for special occasions.

We always love going to Nonna. It has become a staple over the years. Service today was great, and our server gifted us with some cookies out the door. I had the mushroom tortellini which was simply divine. My boyfriend always gets the margherita pizza (which I always steal a slice of) and Nonna's Pilsner is one of his favorite beers of all time. The cappuccino from the coffee bar and an espresso martini are go-tos for myself. We can never leave without stopping at the Zucherro dessert bar and picking something to take home. Thank you for a consistently nice experience!

Definitely one of the best places we’ve dined at (familiar with the top end of restaurants in LA and San Diego), amazing view, service and the deluxe romance package for Valentine’s Day was amazing. 10/10 highly recommend.

Very nice fish broth as a complementary appetizer. Then we shared the table side Caesar salad and the molcahete hot appetizer with chicken, shrimp, beef, asparagus etc. Plenty for a light dinner for two. Excellent lime margaritas, too.
