At Bivio our passion is authentic Neapolitan pizza. Napoli... our love of the city, its cuisine, and in particular, its pizza is where our story began. We heard time and time again “It’s all about the dough.” True to Neapolitan tradition, and the passion of the pizzaioli, we construct our pizza using “00” flour from Naples, San Marzano DOP tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, fresh basil, fior di latte or bufala mozzarella, and sea salt. Our dough is gently mixed using a 28 year old “lieveto madre” (natural yeast culture) then with intense heat is baked in our wood burning il forno. At Bivio all of our dishes are made with the freshest and highest quality ingredients.

Chef DeSisto also has gluten free and vegan options for guests as well. Our outdoor patio is weather permitting, if we cannot accommodate outside due to weather we will move you inside depending on availability. Some must try’s are the giant meatball, house made pastas, steak au poivre or our delicious day boat scallops!!     The food was excellent, just 2 minor things: 1-they don't serve alcohol here. I have since learned this has something to do with Montclair in general, though this restaurant does allow you to bring your own wine. I don't hold it against them, they have no control over it and now i know for next time. 2-They had a modified menu for Valentines weekend, so the regular menu wasn't available. Not the end of the world at all, and we got our food EXTREMELY quickly (and it was delicious), just another thing i wish i had known ahead of time.

    Amazing! Amazing! Highly recommend this restaurant. Dined for Valentine’s Day and the they had a live violinist which made the dining experience even better. Everything was a 10/10 from the food to the service. You will not be disappointed

    We went for an early dinner 4pm reservation on Valentines Day. My wife and I had the Spellbinder drink, the hibiscus was aromatic and it was one of the best and strongest margarita I’ve had in a while. We also tried their Colossal Crab Cocktail from the raw bar. Then we had the Collosal Crab Cake from the starters. And for the main course we had the Lobster Spaghetti (a whole Maine lobster) and the Scallops. The experience was lovely and the food was delicious! I can’t wait to come back and try other dishes.
