A Family Tradition For Over 90 YearsMrs. Knott’s Chicken Dinner Restaurant first opened in 1934 with Mrs. Knott and her children serving the first customers in their tea room. The restaurant has grown over the years into one of the largest in California, but the classic fried chicken dinner is still made the same way today using Mrs. Knott's recipes. Every complete chicken dinner includes handmade biscuits, side salad, choice of cabbage or cherry rhubarb, three pieces of fried chicken, and mashed potatoes smothered in gravy. For dessert: your choice of boysenberry pie or boysenberry sherbet. Many other dishes are also available including grilled chicken, salads, and a number of appetizers. A full-service bar, serving signature boysenberry-infused cocktails, is also available.Currently, we are following all government-issued regulations and seating is currently outside only.     We had one of the best experiences at the seller we were hoping for something really fun and they came out 100% the customer service with Shannon was amazing she is by far one of the best waitress we’ve ever had. The food was beyond delicious and my dad has a hard time walking up the stairs so they took their time put us through the kitchen and had the elevator take him up everyone was so accommodating and helpful. We will definitely be back.

    Our server, Rachel, was outstanding! We were a bit of a high -maintenance party, we ordered staggered drinks and food throughout the evening. Rachel just seemed to appear like magic anytime we needed anything, and seemed to anticipate our needs throughout the evening. The hostess and other staff were so friendly. This was our first visit, but it won’t be our last! Thanks Rachel and the rest of the staff for a wonderful evening!

    Always a pleasure dining here. Family owned, caring fun staff, excellent quality and tasty food, hand crafted cocktails and excellent beer selection. Christmas is in full effect and so cozy there. Definitely worth a trip to check out if you haven’t been. Great patios with blankets & heat lamps to keep you cozy. Nightly specials and good happy hour too!!
