Best Wineries in Frankfort

Took my friend to Coopers Hawk in New Lenox for her birthday lunch. Our server, Christina, was attentive and pleasant. My friend had the parmesan chicken which she enjoyed. I had the pork chop. I never order pork chops at a restaurant but decided to try it and I'm so glad I did. It was delicious and would highly recommend it. My friend also got a free dessert treat for her birthday....how nice is that!

I met my cousin for lunch to catch up with each other. We had a reservation and were sat immediately. The server was very informative and attentive. I had the Butternut Squash soup and Roasted Tomato Flatbread. The soup was ok, not the best I’ve had but the flatbread was very good. My Patron Paloma was very good as well. The best part is that we were able to sit at our table to talk for hours and it wasn’t a problem. It was during the week at lunch so they were busy but not packed. We appreciated that very much.

We’ve been hesitant to visit the Walnut Room due to food allergies but decided to give it a try. From the moment we sat down, Jesus, our waiter, was so attentive. He noticed our allergen card in the table and immediately addressed it, letting us know he find out anything we needed to know and would talk to the chef personally to see what our son could eat. We’ve always wanted to visit this beautiful restaurant but never did out of fear of allergies. But Jesus helped to make this experience amazing for our whole family. Thank you for taking the time to understand our allergies and walk us through the menu. It was a great start to the holiday season. We will be back again!

Top notch! I made a resi for my husband’s birthday & had to move the time around a bunch of times bc of scheduling changes. They were very accommodating about it (which I was really surprised by- even I thought it was getting obnoxious at one point!). They got us booked, welcomed us warmly when we arrived and invited us to sit at the bar as they got our table ready (after all that, we ended up being early for our resi!). The wine was great and Andrew (bartender) makes a fabulous gin martini! I had the pistachio crusted grouper (SO good!) and my husband had the chef recommended Almond Crusted Mahi-Mahi (we’re pescatarian so…) which he really enjoyed. Our waiter, Patrick, was lovely and right on top of things too! Attentive without being overbearing or hovering and “Mr. on the Spot” when we did need something. It was a really nice evening— had a lovely romantic dinner! They even comped our dessert as a bday treat (some chocolate truffles with some sort of berry drizzle— just the right amount of sweet at the end of a delicious meal). We’ll definitely be back.
