   We hadn’t eaten at Pasta Pasta in many years and thought we’d give it a new look. They seem to have upgraded the menu and decor over the years. Service was pretty good - not much waiting, water refilled and dishes cleared regularly. The price fix dinner available from 4-5 is reasonable at $39 for appetizer, entree and dessert. (We ordered our apple cranberry crisp dessert to go - waiter didn’t describe it as a la mode, would’ve eaten the ice cream at the restaurant if we had known.) Appetizers were a tiny pear Gorgonzola salad that was just ok and a fried artichoke appetizer that was only half edible because the crisped petals were like eating sticks. Shrimp carbonara could have had more than 4 shrimp, but was delicious. Filet mignon was cooked perfectly medium rare - mashed potatoes and broccoli were meh. There was a $5 up charge on the menu for this entree but we were charged $6 extra on the bill - not a big deal. The fresh Italian bread was served warm with some strange spread on it and not cut completely into slices. We made a huge mess trying to get the slices separated while the spread dropped off onto the table. We sent it back and asked for plain bread and butter after tasting the spread. Fresh loaf was delivered with a smile but also wasn’t sliced through. Made another mess of crispy crust. Honestly, probably won’t go back anytime soon. The meal without any extras was $115 with tax and tip. We’ve had better food and value elsewhere.

   Always love coming here the food is excellent and the service is great. The staff is especially friendly. I would highly recommend this place

   The restaurant was crowded with little room to move between tables and the noise level was high. Of the three meals we ordered two were less than satisfactory with little taste. The third was better but when presented looked like it was “ thrown together “. Not a great experience.

   As always, the service was excellent & the food was delicious! The perfect place for lunch or dinner with family or friends :) Never disappointed, and as expected, decorated for the holidays!

   Service and ambience were perfect. The food was expensive considering the quality of ingredients and preparation. Flavors were a little off! The filet mignon served over toasted gnocchi, tossed with roasted garlic, sage, prosciutto, arugula, splash of marsala wine was pretty awful! The filet was tough and under seasoned and flat cut. The prosciutto was like leather… not the correct preparation for prosciutto in a hot dish. The toasted gnocchi was quite dense and heavy. Its texture, size, and taste are typical of cheap store bought gnocchi. There was very little arugula and what was there was overcooked. The filet, arugula, and gnocchi were immersed in a soup of marsala that was not correctly reduced to burn off alcohol. The encrusted rack of lamb was cooked unevenly and the exterior was soggy. The flavor profile of the escargot wontons was a complete disaster. The sauce(s) flavors do not go together with the appetizer. The steamed veggies were fine. Have to say the garlic bread served was good, but would be better with a little more salt added to the seasoning.

    Early lunch; prix fixe menu was excellent accompanied by a half bottle of Joel Gott Sauvignon Blanc. Nice service from Reina
