For more than 20 years, Paolo’s has been bringing the taste of Italy to Kent. Paul Raftis founded the restaurant after growing up learning to cook along side his mother, Darlene Raftis. He enjoys the open kitchen he can chat with guests as he works. He never tires of hearing "It smells so good in here!" As a marathoner, he is living proof that that you can eat Italian and be healthy. In fact, one of his signature dishes, "Fettucine Paolo" was featured in Runner's World magazine. "It's one of the dishes I developed, it has no cream in it, no butter." It's a delicious pasta dish that utilizes olive oil, garlic, chicken stock, garlic, balsamic vinegar, sundried tomatoes, artichokes, and chicken. So whether it's bruschetta, cioppino, pizza, or spaghetti and meatballs, Paul thanks each of you for choosing to dine here.

My family and I had a great experience tonight. The server was warm and friendly with my family and especially my little toddler who she was extra attentive to. Bread hit the table with waters immediately as well as water in a kids cup for my son without having to ask along with crayons and his order taken early. Our server provided menu recommendations and showed me some insider tips on how she likes to add shrimp to the scallops pasta, she was right as it was delicious! The rest of my family enjoyed their meal. They even called us after we left our credit card there. This is the kind of service even the top most restaurants would kill to see. Paolos, we love ya!

The waitress was overworked and quite unpleasant. Kept forgetting to bring coffee that was ordered early on as well as other items.

Extremely slow service. Looks like the waiters don't look around to see if people have needs. They do their regular ceremony of getting orders but if you need things they pass by and don't pay attention to your table at all. Over two hours for a main course is too much waiting time.

The food was delicious I got the shrimp Alfredo and it was wonderful, we got pumpkin cheesecake for dessert, it was amazing! Service was great, if you haven’t been here yet I recommend it, it was my first time here.
