Osteria is a truly authentic Italian Restaurant on Westover Terrace in Greensboro. You'll feel like you've just been transported to Emilia Romagna, region of Italy. The restaurant is decorated with wine cabinets filled with well selected only italian wines. Our chefs adhere to traditional methods of preparation and use only the finest ingredients imported from Italy in addition to our local produce. We only use fresh pasta made daily. Pasta and fresh seafood take center stage of our menu, in addition to other dishes. Desserts and bread are also freshly made at Osteria.

My wife and I stopped by for dinner. We have dined here before and enjoyed our return visit. I had the mushroom soup for starters and the lamb shank and parmesan risotto. The mushroom soup was delicious, with an amazing umami flavor. The lamb was falling off the bone and well seasoned. My wife enjoyed the whole fish special. Her dish was excellently seasoned with fresh herbs and lemon slices.

Went to Osteria for the first time and will definitely be back! Our waitress was lovely and the food was excellent. I recommend the risotto and the caprese.

Excellent service, food, and value for fine dining experience. Only issue is closeness of tables, and thus, anyone talking a lot and/or too loudly can detract from the experience/ambiance. This was our experience. Other negative: though mentioned in the reservation that it was a birthday, no one acknowledged this with good wishes or anything. We love Osteria and will return again.

Short and sweet, great service and food and we will absolutely be back! Longer version, service was gracious, prompt and “classy”, if that makes sense, we enjoyed all of the staff that we interacted with. The meatball appetizer was delicious, the endive salad with bleu cheese was exactly what we wanted it to be and our pasta and steak was also fantastic. Get a limoncello along with your desert and you won’t be disappointed. Great place.

We had a reservation for lunch at 1:00 on a Saturday and the restaurant was packed. In addition to a full dining room they had a huge private party. I was impressed that the food came out in a timely manner and everything was hot and delicious. It was another wonderful meal at Osteria.

Osteria has always been a favorite place and was good Saturday at lunch, but not up to usual par. Only one server handling a room full of tables. Just seemed like an off day. Perhaps a large party in the main dining room. That said. Lunch was good, and we’ll be back.
