                                                                                            We were there for restaurant week and they did a great job. Our favorites were the fennel dusted scallops and flourless chocolate cake. Dinner here is consistently good. My one complaint with Oceano is that they are always “waiting” for the bread (a known fave for all with the harissa olive oil) - so you never get it when you should. And this time our server took away the bread service without asking if we’d like more. A simple fix that would make everyone happy!

                                                                                            We went for Clayton Restaurant week where they had various 3-course specials for a specific price point. The place was packed, but we had reservations. The service was friendly and efficient and even the front room greeters and what appeared to be the manager was very welcoming. The food was excellent and just the right portions. And I felt we got our money's worth. Our server was also very familiar with the wine list and helped us choose a bottle of wine. My friend and I were catching up, so I'm glad we didn't feel like we were being rushed out at any point. I also appreciate that the booths have upholstered seating and there is carpeting, therefore, even though the place was crowded, we didn't have to scream across the table to hold a conversation due to poor acoustics. It was a cozy comfortable environment. It was a wonderful evening and I will return.

                                                                                            The scallops were absolutely delicious and the star of our meal. Portions were generous (which we find is not always the case). The service was exceptional - and it was very busy for a Wednesday night. We were greeted warmly and our waitress spent all the time we needed answering questions and suggesting a lovely bottle of wine. Only portion of the meal that was average was the New England Seafood Chowder - it was bland.

                                                                                            Food was very nice, fresh and great flavor. Service is the highlight from entry to the bar to table, very good. BTW the chocolate flourless cake is more like a chocolate soufflé, delicious!
