The ancient Hawaiians divided their land into three sections: Mauka, kula and makai – or mountains, midland and the sea – known as ahupua ‘a. It is the kula lands, primarily used for agriculture, that now serve as the inspiration for the North Shore Kula Grille.

The service and food were great. I also ate breakfast here 3 times during my stay. My only criticism, bring back the tater tots. The heirloom breakfast potatoes don’t compare. The heirloom trend doesn’t work for me.

We had a reservation for a Friday night and by 6:30pm they were out of the Ahi dinner. We weren't notified until after we made our order. We shuffled and changed our appetizer as well, but there was never an apology or suggested alternative made. Over all the servers were adequate but never seemed to go out of their way to offer refills or check in and see how the meal was. For the type of food and menu the price was a bit much. We liked the breakfast staff and options much better than dinner. Service poolside for tacos and drinks as well as price is a better option.

We arrived and they could not find our reservation we made through open table. Luckily there was no wait. Our server was a little awkward/goofy but nice. The view was beautiful at sunset, but the food was very disappointing. We ordered the Hulu Hulu chicken, macadamia nut Mahi, shrimp tacos, and Kalbi short ribs( very fatty) all served with white rice, except the tacos. All pretty pricey and bland. It was my birthday and we also sampled the complimentary flourless chocolate cake. That was the saddest thing ever. The kids even passed on sharing it, tasted like a cliff bar. Wish we would have just eaten the grindz poolside, they looked flavorful. Don’t recommend.

$30 for scrambled eggs and orange juice? This restaurant is the only blemish at Turtle Bay. The breakfast is tasty, but the prices are not. We also had “dinner” one night, but the prices do not reflect breakfast hall atmosphere. So we got two appetizers and 1 drink-$75, ridiculous.

Just a lovely evening with great pizzas, drinks and my husband had Mahi Mahi that he loved. The service was exceptional, we were never lacking for anything.

One of the more affordable of the 5 restaurants at Turtle Bay...and there are very few dining experiences around other than food trucks. Great ambience above the pool and facing the sunset..outdoor porch best spot. Macadamia crusted fish delicious; short ribs a bit tough but tasty. Friendly servers.

We had the ribs which we excellent. We ordered one half and one full which we perfect between the two of us as 2 full would have been to much. The wine a bit pricy but that’s Hawaii. Overall a good experience.
