Why they're an Icon

Executive chef: Jennifer Chow

From the OpenTable editors: Come to legendary chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s Caesars Palace spot for the refined Japanese-inspired dishes that made the restaurant a global phenomenon. Dressed with lanterns and natural wooden accents, the elegant dining room sets the stage for a decadent meal of knockout sushi along with Nobu classics like miso black cod. For a full-on celebration, get the omakase menu, prepared tableside on teppanyaki grills.

This is my fifth trip to Nobu. NY and Malibu. Three times to Caesar's in Vegas. Reserved reservation for the Omikase (as always). Made a 9pm reservation. Arrived 5 minutes early. Didn't seat me until 9:15pm which was fine but when we ordered we were told no Omikase after 9pm. Very disappointing. We ordered random menu items. Food was OK. Nothing special this time. Some of my best meals in the past have been at Nobu. Unfortunately not this time.

Despite having reservations, waited 25 minutes for a table. Then server was very pushy for ordering the many and more expensive items. Food was fantastic however.

We were very disappointed to discover that Nobu did not live up to its hype and reputation. It is just very average sushi at shockingly high prices. The portions are extremely small and the two of us ordered four rolls and two pieces of nigiri and left hungry. Sadly, we would never return nor recommend to anyone.

Randy took great care of us and is very knowledgeable. His recommendations for dishes were spot on for what we were looking for. The food is amazing and we will definitely return.

Service was unacceptable. It took over 10 minutes for server to acknowledge us. Drinks were empty (including water) and never refilled or asked if interested in another bar order. Was planning on trying out a few dishes but experience was so bad that we left after appetizers. Had such high hopes and was incredibly disappointed.

The food was out of this world amazing. Hands down amazing. Unfortunately, our server was extremely distracted and never really took the time to be attentive to us. He would ask if we needed anything as he was walking by. He was working multiple tables… which we understand, but come on now, take a second with us. (Consequently, one of our drinks was wrong and one of the appetizers we ordered were incorrect. Quickly fixed, but clearly a communication issue.

The server was very inpatient and rude. We felt rushed and not welcome throughout the dining experience. Drink service was slow, food came out in no order with little explanation. Our bill was 500$ plus for 3 people. Was not a luxury experience considering the premium price point. Would not go again.

Nobu has amazing, fresh food! It isn’t just a restaurant, it is an experience. Our waitress was very helpful suggesting different choices. The food was outstanding and our waitress made the evening a great experience! Bb
