   Coming from out of town we were looking forward to dining. But when you have to wait over an hour and you have a reservation is not ok. Better planning needs to be done and the hosts they have in the front are not the most pleasant. However, the food was great, our server was amazing and management even came and spoke to us.

   After 25 years the place is still packed. Which I guess gives them the right to make you wait 1 hr for your table even with a reservation. The servís was so slow and bad, they forgot to bring us our salad and took 20 min to get our drinks. They brought some complementary appetizers and they included them in our check, which after I asked they took them off. Not that they will miss my business, but with all the other options in Dallas won’t be going back anytime soon.

   Disappointed on this visit - had a 730 resv but didn't get seated until 830. Ordered quickly and had to wait 30min for food to arrive. My filet was okay, not great. No apologies for wait and nothing comped.

   I had an amazing time with friends, enjoying the fantastic ambiance and delicious food. My only small critique is that the corners of the restaurant are a bit too dimly lit, which made it a little challenging to fully enjoy our meal.

   The food and atmosphere is really great once you get seated, but be prepared to wait a while for your table even with a reservation. We waited 45 minutes for our table. It’s also extremely crowded everywhere in the restaurant so it was not as comfortable of a dining experience as we would have liked. With that said, the food is amazing and they know how to make you feel celebrated for special occasions.

   Crowded. Sat down 45 minutes after reservations. Great service once seated. Excellent food. They packed in the tables. Recommend a booth if you want to relax in your seat.

   We have enjoyed visiting Nick and Sam's for celebrations a few times a year. However, our recent experience has led us to reconsider our choice for future celebrations. During our last visit, my family of four was seated at a table meant for two, which made it difficult to enjoy our meal comfortably. Additionally, the air conditioning was directed at our table, affecting our $650 Steak dinner plate that can be shared between 3 people. We also heard the same song repeatedly while waiting for our meal. “New York, New York” Furthermore, the glass and silverware for the birthday girl were dirty, and the steak knife was not replaced but left on a side table throughout our dinner, forcing us to share knives. My youngest daughter's Shirley Temple drink and salmon sushi had an unusual taste, which resulted in her feeling unwell. When I booked our reservation through OpenTable, there was a section that asked if there was a special occasion. It would be beneficial if this information could be taken into account when determining table placement. I encourage you to consider restoring the authentic Nick and Sam’s experience that justifies a $1,300 meal. This restaurant should be the premier choice for celebrations and date night dinners. Reducing the number of tables could create more space for both your staff and clients, enhancing the overall dining experience for everyone who invests in your chefs, wait staff, valet, bartenders, and hostesses. I encourage you to review what Starbucks did and is doing now to restore the cafe style value, if Starbucks can successfully make such changes, I believe Nick and Sam's can do the same. We hope to see improvements in the future.

   We’ve eaten at Nick & Sam’s several times. The food is very good (not excellent). At this price point, it should be excellent. What makes the restaurant special is the atmosphere, which is a lot different than other upscale restaurants in Dallas. We find that the restaurant is often so busy that the service levels drop off a bit. That is no exception for last night. The wait staff was nice, but couldn’t be as attentive as needed because of how busy there were. We also had a very long wait for our food. Even the waitress apologized for that.

   Incredible service and food quality. We enjoyed the experience and are so glad this was on our list of dining while in Dallas. We had the Australian filet and wagyu platter to experience Japanese and American beef. Both were excellent. This is a high energy, busy restaurant. We were fortunate to have a booth along the perimeter but still had constant, fast motioned servers navigating the path by our table the entire time.
