- WWesvipTulsa •33 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had a delightful waiter (Steven). Very attentive and friendly. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and suggested a wonderful vegetarian option which was amazing. (Did notice that our food took longer to arrive to our table. Tables next to us arrived after we were seated and after we ordered, received their food first). Still five stars ⭐️More infoBrennan'sPrice: Expensive• Creole• French Quarter•4.8

- LlowellLas Vegas •16 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoDarla and Daniel were incredible waiters. Knowledgeable, great interaction. Food was perfect! Fried oysters with tasso gravy reduction was bomb. For those who don't know, tasso is Cajun smoked pork legs with extremely deep smoke. Then duck confit, thigh and drumb. Finished with peppermint ice cream and glacee drizzled with chocolate.More infoAntoine'sPrice: Expensive• Creole• French Quarter•4.6
- CCyndieCleveland / Akron / Canton •10 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had a round table for 8, which is ideal for connecting with each other. Service was excellent, very friendly and professional. The food was also great, “traditional” New Orleans style. The $55 prix fixe menu was a great value. Would highly recommend the shrimp and grits, gumbo, and drum. All perfectly prepared.More infoMuriel's Jackson SquarePrice: Very Expensive• Creole / Cajun / Southern• French Quarter•4.7
- AAlexSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoHave never had a bad meal at GW Fins. Food and service are consistently above average, even in a city where the average is abnormally good. We’ve been coming for over 10 years but this was our first visit with our 18 month old toddler. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. You’ve earned yourself another fan for life.More infoGW FinsPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• French Quarter•4.9

12 stellar special-occasion restaurants in New Orleans
New Orleanians mark time by food seasons, not calendar flips. The hottest months belong to frozen daiquiris and technicolor snoballs. When it comes to celebrating a birthday, graduation, or just feeling alive in the Big Easy, the stage is set with buckets of seafood, cocktails in James Beard Award-winning bars, and grand dining rooms that have hosted generations of milestone events. Read on for a guide to the 12 best restaurants to book across New Orleans to get the party started.
