- RRhondaLas Vegas •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoOur dinner at Gordon Ramsay Steak did not disappoint. Highly recommend! The Beverages - We started off with “Notes from Gordon” and “Hugo Spritz”. Both were refreshing and delicious. Whether you are a gin lover or not, you cannot leave without having a “Notes from Gordon”. It is a standout drink. We also had Burrowing Owl Merlot and Bonanza Cabernet, which were both great. The Food - Outstanding!!! The amuse bouche was delicious. We started with 3 plates to share: Crab Cake, Pork Belly and British Stout Onion Soup. The Crab Cake was one of the best we have had. Full of flavor and crab, not binders like you get at some places. The herb aioli was bright and the charred lemon was the perfect finish. The pork belly was crisp on a bed of creamy polenta. And the soup was the perfect balance of savory and salty. It held a generous potion of braised short rib and the crouton toppers were easy to eat. Our dinners included the Pan Seared Salmon and the 8oz Wagyu Striploin and Mac & Cheese. The salmon had the crispiest skin and was cooked to perfection. The Striploin had a great sear, was cooked to temp and the flavor was incredible. The double smoked bacon/jalapeño cream Mac & Cheese was very good, but too rich to pair with the Wagyu. Next time we would stick with the potatoes or a veggie side. But the showstopper is always the Sticky Toffee Pudding. The best we have had at any of his restaurants, and the caramel sauce is so good you want to bathe in it. The Service - Our server Sandeep was fantastic. His attention to detail was impressive, and his service was attentive but not stifling. All staff were friendly and welcoming, from the hostess to the manager. The Ambiance - We were seated in the back dining room, which I would recommend if you are going for a special occasion. The lighting was dim, but the mini lamps at the table were touch lighting so you could adjust the level of light at the table. There was pleasant music playing, which was at a comfortable level.More infoGordon Ramsay Steak - VancouverPrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Richmond•4.5
- JJayneVancouver / British Columbia •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoMy sister and I were celebrating her birthday as well as attending an event the day so we were making a trip out of it and staying the night at the Pan Pacific as well. Our server Lenny was very gracious, professional and provided us with what I felt was a luxury level of service. As a surprise, he gave us a little starter of tuna (I think) ceviche to mark our "sister's night out" which was delicious! For our starters, we ordered the Calamari in Tempura Batter which was so tasty and crispy. ALL calamari should be made with tempura batter! My sister ordered the Ebi Fritters which we both ended up loving for the crispiness, serving size and taste! I ate the tails too! I ordered the Mackarel and Salmon Oshi which I have had many times before and it NEVER disappoints! OMG, it was just as delicious as I was expecting! My sister ordered the Miku Roll which she also loved. I will definitely dine here again! Thank you to Miku and Lenny for a great night!More infoMiku Restaurant - VancouverPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Coal Harbour•4.8
