- KKateVancouver / British Columbia •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoIt was delightful. We were on our way to the airport and this was our last memorable experience of Vancouver. They took our bags and stored them for us and took us to a table with a view over the whole restaurant. (I only with the had an elevator to get to the mezzanine level where we were seated. Every bite of food was excellent and exceeded my expectations of the dish. Our server was there when we needed her and did not intrude "just to check in" like many do. It was a bustling place and we were delighted. We'll be back.More infoNightingalePrice: Expensive• Canadian• Coal Harbour•4.8

Delicious food, the usual friendly personal service and convivial fun! A great night at Westcott Bay!More infoWestcott Bay Shellfish CoPrice: Expensive• Seafood• San Juan Islands•4.9
- LLeesaDenver / Colorado •5 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 7, 2024The food was good. I would recommend the scallops And the salmon dip. Only problems with food were that the smaller pieces of bread that came with the salmon dip would break having had to much dip on it and the lemon was VERY sour, the most sour lemon I have ever had. But otherwise both of us loved our food and the waitress was great even though the kitchen was a little loud. If anyone we know comes to Bellingham we will recommend this place to them and come back if we can!More infoSkylark's Hidden CafePrice: Moderate• American• Bellingham•4.7

Discover Orcas Island
Known as the "Gem of the San Juans," Orcas Island in Northern Washington State is where fresh produce and homegrown fruits like prunes are prominently featured in restaurants serving contemporary American fare. After watching the sun set off of Puget Sound following a day of kayaking or hiking, you may find that a meal of fried chicken with Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, roast broccoli with jalapeño honey and a buttermilk biscuit in milk gravy hits the spot. Fresh seafood is, of course, popular in this area, with oysters shucked at the bar, pesto-crusted local halibut or jumbo spot prawn skewers filling plates in small cafés and seaside diners here. Top off your meal with something sweet like a tropical soufflé made with passion fruit.
