The service and ambience at Ashten's are always impeccable. The small menu allows the chef(s) to provide targeted compositions of flavors and textures using local ingredients (when possible) and/or high quality products. The small menu can be challenge for vegetarians, with only a couple of options available beyond a an outstanding salad, but generally the staff is happy to accommodate dietary restrictions, as allowed by the menu.

We had an amazing meal, and the service was excellent! The chef truly cares about his menu and the presentation. We’ve celebrated our anniversary here for the past five years, Elliots on Linden makes it special and never disappoints!

The shrimp was excellent, and so were the green beans and mashed potatoes. unfortunately the steaks were not good. My husband asked for a well done, and I asked for a medium well. His was medium well, and mine was rare. The waitress came back and said that 2 of the chefs called out; she figured it was made wrong. She looked them back to be cooked correctly, and THEY STILL were wrong. She offered a free dessert, which we declined. For $120+, that's unacceptable.

Service was impeccable, thanks! Crowd noise level was high outside, not a place for seniors when it’s crowded. We went inside, still noisy - better suited for the younger crowd. Burger and chicken 4 star. Thanks.

Warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff was amazing and created a wonderful dining experience, bringing Manhattan-style dining to Southern Pines. Delectable meal choices did not disappoint. Even my most finicky guest cleaned their plate and expressed approval for the remainder of the evening. Thank you.
