- KKennethVIPPhiladelphia County •116 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoAs always, the General Warren was wonderful. Many good dishes s. This week, tried the chicken schnitzel- delicious! Two other guests tried the bronzino and raved about it. The mushroom soup is always a winner. Was a bit noisy this week but to be expected as it is holiday time. Typically very comfortable from perspective of background noise. Great local fine dining establishment.More infoGeneral WarrenPrice: Expensive• American• Malvern•4.8
- PPamVIPPhiladelphia County •37 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoIf you love mushroom soup - Terrain has some of the best! I never eat bread at a restaurant , but when you bake it in a clay pot and add the most flavorful butter - it’s heaven. - AAnneVIPPhiladelphia County •29 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 8, 2024Not very crowded and we dined at 7:15. Brick oven pizza is a plus. There are lots of appetizers or so it seemed but we were there for a meal. I have not been there since last spring probably but the real food menu has not changed much. I think you would get a bigger crowd with more main menu food choices. It is a pub but stretch the food choices beyond wraps, pizza and burgers. A vegetable besides fries would be a plus. I do like this place and would like to see it stay in Malvern but remember you have the Pig and Anthony’s to contend with oh and then Casey’s redo which I am not sure has opened yet. Food, service, and atmosphere all pluses this evening.More infoBrick & Brew Pub-MalvernPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• Malvern•4.3

12 of Philadelphia’s outstanding spots for celebrating special occasions
Maybe you got engaged on the steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art or just picked up the keys to your first rowhouse. It could be that your kid is (finally) toilet trained, or that your noisy neighbor moved away. Sometimes, simply surviving another Tuesday can be an occasion to celebrate over a restaurant meal. Luckily, Philadelphia bursts with places where the food and atmosphere lend themselves to living it up. Grab dinner and a jazz show at a swinging North Broad Street faithful. Opt for a quieter night at a critically acclaimed, plant-based gem in Midtown Village. Or splurge on a swanky steakhouse that presides over a corner of Rittenhouse Park. Whether you’re after an intimate spot for an anniversary date or a convivial atmosphere for a boisterous reunion, Philadelphia has you covered with these 12 celebration-worthy restaurants.
