- AAnnPhiladelphia County •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoOur annual tradition of dining at the KOP Melting Pot post holiday show was fantastic! We were running a little late from downtown but the hostess team was super helpful and understanding. We were seated right away. The food is always great, the ambiance warm and inviting, and the service entertaining. This year, our wait staff went above and beyond to serve our every needs; Anna was simply perfect. Thank you all so much for providing us a joyful celebration once again. Happy Holidays!More infoThe Melting Pot - King of PrussiaPrice: Expensive• Fondue• King of Prussia•4.8

The steaks were perfect, presentation was lovely, service outstanding and a special birthday dessert caused these sugar free oldies to fall right off our diet! - LLilyNew York City •4 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoWe have allergies in our family and are very nervous when we go out to eat. When we got there, our server, Lia, told us she'd talk to the chef about our allergies, and came back to say the chef would modify whatever meal we wanted to be able to accommodate. When the food was ready, the chef came to our table to talk us through the modifications she made and how she confirmed that the food was safe for us to eat. We've never had a restaurant care that much and pay such close attention to our family's allergen issues. It was such a relief and such a positive experience for us. The food was phenomenal and the people were amazing. We will absolutely return. 12/10 - wonderful experience.More infoTrue Food Kitchen - King of PrussiaPrice: Moderate• American• King of Prussia•4.3

12 of Philadelphia’s outstanding spots for celebrating special occasions
Maybe you got engaged on the steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art or just picked up the keys to your first rowhouse. It could be that your kid is (finally) toilet trained, or that your noisy neighbor moved away. Sometimes, simply surviving another Tuesday can be an occasion to celebrate over a restaurant meal. It doesn’t have to be fancy. What makes an occasion special isn’t an arbitrary date on the calendar—it’s the decision to celebrate. Luckily, Philadelphia bursts with places where the food and atmosphere lend themselves to living it up. Grab dinner and a jazz show at a swinging North Broad Street faithful. Opt for a quieter night at a critically acclaimed, plant-based gem in Midtown Village. Or splurge on a swanky steakhouse that presides over a corner of Rittenhouse Park. Whether you’re after an intimate spot for an anniversary date or a convivial atmosphere for a boisterous reunion, Philadelphia has you covered with these 12 celebration-worthy restaurants.

Discover King of Prussia
This city may have grown far beyond its farmland origins, but its culinary traditions are no less important. After all, the area got its name from a historical tavern that's still standing after centuries of serving diners. Of course, if you're not a big fan of the classic Welsh-inspired and American heartland meals the area is known for, you can always check out the Brazilian, Vietnamese and Middle Eastern spots that have sprung up nearby. Being this close to Philly doesn't mean that you're right in the middle of the hustle and bustle. King of Prussia's agricultural roots remain strong in the form of casual farm-to-table countertop dining and abundant area wineries, both of which are great ways to cap off your trips to nearby Valley Forge.
