- CChiaraVIPNew York City •14 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThe novelty of it being a fancy restaurant behind a pawnshop front was what drew us here, but we also had a really really good experience. This restaurant has to be the one of the prettiest restaurants we’ve ever been to. My husband and I had the prix fixe, which we figured was the best way to try as many of the dishes as possible without getting too full. The food was absolutely delicious! For appetizers we had the Thai Style Deep Fried Shrimp and Little French Dips. I preferred the former over the latter. Our entrees were Lamb Chops and Wild Mushroom Ravioli. i have to say the mushroom ravioli was probably THE best we have ever had. Our sides were truffle mac and cheese and bbq fries, and for dessert we had the LES NYC doughnuts (which come with dark chocolate fudge, berry, and caramel dips) and the black bottom butterscotch pot de creme. The desserts are defintely a cut above the rest. We highly recommend this place! We’ll be coming back someday!More infoBeauty & Essex- New YorkPrice: Expensive• Unspecified• Lower East Side•4.6

- BBenNew York City •1 review5.0Dined on Jan 3, 2025Contra is your favorite bartender's favorite bar right now. Excellent, nuanced, tasty cocktails and similarly great small bites. Come with 2-4 people, have a couple rounds and snacks (get the wagyu tartar), and then walk to dinner in the neighborhood. Or the other way around!More infoBar ContraPrice: Moderate• American• Lower East Side•4.5
- HHeatherVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •4 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 27, 2024Everything was perfect. The sushi is 10/10, truly the best. I have celiac disease and they had gluten free soy sauce and made sure everything was safe for me. Our server was wonderful and brought out ice cream and a candle for my husbands birthday.More infoBlue Ribbon Sushi IzakayaPrice: Moderate• Japanese• Lower East Side•4.6
