- WWendyLos Angeles •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoI have seen the several evolutions of this place. By far, the latest owners stepped it up 👏beginning with the redecoration, and menu change! Thank you for raising the bar!!More infoLuminarias Restaurant & Special EventsPrice: Moderate• American• Monterey Park•4.6
- SPSergeantPeachesLos Angeles •3 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWonderful ambience - feels like you’re in a cozy (but classy) old home. Service was wonderful. All the food was delicious, and the cocktails are unique and very good. So far, I’ve only been with larger groups of family, but I’d love to come back for a romantic dinner.More infoThe Raymond RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Pasadena•4.6
- MMaria elenavipLos Angeles •1 review5.0Dined 5 days agogreat bubbly, sandwiches, desserts and tea; perfect service. Next time (there will definitely be a next time!) I would ask to keep the scones and add fruit (decrease the hard to dismiss desserts). thanks for a great bday photo! (servers are excellent photographers).More infoThe Huntington's Rose Garden Tea RoomPrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• South Pasadena•4.7
- AArinLos Angeles •3 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 17, 2024An incredible culinary experience, if you can afford it. $250 for brunch for 2 people. But well worth the splurge. From the quality of the cuisine to the ambiance to the exquisite service, an all around superb once-in-a-lifetime type of experience.More infoThe Lobby Lounge @ The Langham Hotel PasadenaPrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Pasadena•4.3
- VVictorLos Angeles •3 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 17, 2024I came in observance of the launch of a Jujutsu Kaisen mobile game that launched and for one day, Asayoru has made some of menu items Jujutsu Kaisen theme. I ordered the gyodan that wasn't much different than the regular gyodan, it has a sausage on place of an egg to replicate Sakudo's finger. I had the Gojo parfait and it was yummy. It has a vanilla scoop, blue jello, and Pocky. I did enjoy the matcha milk. When I arrived, the cafe was very busy. It holds he same fun atmosphere like it was back at EXP, but it was on a Saturday, so, high chances of availability to go is expected for young adults who work weekdays or go to school can make it on the weekends. I was able to get some Jujutsu Kaisen freebies after sharing the banner for their mobile game on Instagram. I was able to have a good time at Sakurin's birthday event the day after or the day I reviewed my experience. One thing I want to point out is in the second row somewhere in the middle, I felt something hot on my back. I assumed it was the stage light projecting from the back row. I was too focused on the performance to consider finding out.More infoAsayoru Maid CafePrice: Expensive• Creative Japanese• Monterey Park•4.9

Discover Monterey Park
Whatever your favorite Asian cuisine, you're almost sure to find it in Monterey Park. Asian restaurants rule the Monterey Park dining scene, which includes Chinese, Japanese, Taiwanese, and Cantonese options. Of course, don't forget Thai, Korean, and Burmese; the list goes on and on with delicious diversity. With so many styles to pick from, it's hard to imagine growing tired of Asian cooking anytime soon. When you're ready for a change, though, try the area's authentic Mexican food. Whether you want a grab-and-go taco or a sit-down meal, you can find it in Monterey Park's lineup of Latin American restaurants. Another cuisine to try? Don't miss out on this L.A. suburb's Hawaiian cooking, especially tropical barbecue and bowls of poke (pronounced po-kay), a popular salad made with raw tuna and sweet sesame.
