She has been greeted with a single rose each year. They always have a Valentine dinner special or order off the menu. Either way, you both recieve a glass of champaine and desert. Your surrounded by windows over looking Lake of the Ozarks and even at night, you have the lights dancing off the off, which makes it even more special. The owner, checks in with each table to make sure your experience is a good one. The lobster tails were literally as big as my hand. Everything was cooked to perfection. Our waitress was attentive but gave us time to enjoy ourselves. That was quite a balancing act as the dining room was full and overflowing but we never felt rushed. Sunrise Beach has grown after the creation of Lake of the Ozarks and now caters to travelers and locals alike. The restaurants include many fine dining establishments serving steak and fresh seafood, including fish varieties from the Lake of the Ozarks. Most of the area restaurants are American buffet and family-style establishments serving traditional Midwestern cuisine for lunch or dinner. International food in Sunrise Beach mostly encompasses Mexican restaurants and Italian pasta restaurants and pizzerias. Of course, Missouri is barbecue country, and there are several bar and grill locations that serve up tangy barbecue with refreshing drinks on the side.
