Table of 6. Old friends celebrating Christmas. There for three hours by our choice. Visiting and enjoying each other’s company. Food delicious and hot. Timing perfect as we ordered appetizers and visited then order meals visited then ordered desert. Service was attentive, friendly, professional and prompt. Removed dishes after each course, brought clean silverware and plates for each course and refilled beverages constantly without being asked. PERFECT

We visited Veritas for dinner before attending the Drinks & Deception show upstairs. Upon arrival, the restaurant had a moderate crowd, but we quickly noticed that very few tables had food, which raised concerns about timing. It took about 10 minutes before a hostess even arrived to seat the three waiting parties they were at the door, suggesting they might have been understaffed or in the midst of a shift change. Once seated, the wait times for both food and drinks were noticeably long, which made it a bit stressful given our plans for the evening. Despite the delays, Veritas offers a fairly priced menu and a pleasant ambiance. I’d consider returning in the future, hoping they address the staffing and wait-time challenges.

Barb, our waitress was kind and totally wonderful. I really appreciated her thanking my Dad for his military service as Vietnam Veterans really appreciate this...as do all Veterans I'm sure. The table we sat at was cold and drafty & the chairs are too hard & uncomfortable for older people..was the only downside.

The atmosphere, the food was AMAZING!!! Can’t wait to go back❤️❤️

This was the best dining experience I have had in at least 3 years. Captain Jack Sparrow was our server and he was incredible. Friendly, funny, on top of all we asked for and made us feel like he was there for us. So many servers and restaurants have been settling for crap service with no apologies. This is the only restaurant in Jackson that I have had a good experience with and I will only dine here from now on when I want a night out.
