You just gotta go there. Make a reservation first. We will keep going back!More infoGioia - Wooster Street New HavenPrice: Expensive• Italian• New Haven•4.8
- CChardayConnecticut •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoI don’t even know where to begin.. I came here to celebrate my boyfriends 40th birthday. The waiter we had was Lonnie and he was absolutely exceptional from point A to point B. Welcoming, kind, attentive but not overbearing, fast, personable and just all around accommodating thus helping me execute a perfect birthday dinner evening. The Branzino was by far the best I’ve ever had and got my boyfriends first time trying it, he was a huge fan. Love this place! Will be back again. Thank you Lonnie for your great service!More infoIl Gabbiano - New HavenPrice: Expensive• Italian• New Haven•4.4
- WWendiPortland / Oregon •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoThe Menu at Cast Iron Chop House is vast and truly had something to offer everyone. We did not even get past the 20 or so appetizer options. We chose 4 and made them our meal. Each portion was very generous. The flavor profile and preparation of each dish was so well crafted. Our server Raoul was exceptional, a constant presence but not closing or intrusive. I will return for sure as we didn't tackle soups, salads, the majority of appetizers or any entree.More infoCast Iron Chef Chop House & Oyster BarPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• New Haven•4.6
- MmarciaVIPNew York City •69 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 14, 2024Food was interesting and unusual and yummy. Lobster beet fusili was unusual and tasty. I had it as my main after delicious clam chowder. Husband had the boullabaise and could not have been happier. We were cold in the restaurant. A warm sweater would have been appreciated. Service was great until we had finished our meal.More infoThe Essex BrasseriePrice: Moderate• French• Branford•4.3
- NNinaNew York City •36 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 12, 2024We love this place, but be ready for a whole new menu! We used to love the duck nachos now replaced with duck tostados...they are good but not like the nachos. That could be personal though. The place is still wonderful. Our waiter was amazing a lot of fun. It is now owned by the same restaurant group that owns Union League, but still nothing like Union League-the atmosphere is still the same.More infoZINC New HavenPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• New Haven•4.7
