The care and quality of the courses, the excellent staff and beautiful location makes it easily my favorite restaurant in Savannah. Just make sure to come hungry! The amazing 7 course tasting menu does not mess around. Can’t wait to return again and again and again.More infoElizabeth on 37thPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Thomas Square•4.9
- BBarbaraCoastal Georgia •6 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoLots of delicious and different food choices. Dinner was delightful. Food was hot, wine was chilled, everything tasted yummy. Menu could be improved so that it’s simpler to understand. Present menu required a good deal of server explanation- so just try to simplify it. We will return. Thank you.More infoCommon RestaurantPrice: Very Expensive• Southern• Historic District - North•4.6
- BBenjievipNew York City •82 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe absolutely loved this restaurant!!! The food was so creative and delicious. The service was perfect! Angel, our waiter, was extremely personable, knowing how to provide information about the food and how to converse about our interests. The timing of our courses was great, and loved the atmosphere. The crispy alligator was so good, and the duck and bison short ribs were outstanding.More infoAlligator SoulPrice: Very Expensive• Creole / Cajun / Southern• Historic District - North•4.8

Discover Statesboro
It's no secret that college towns often have some of the best hidden culinary treasures. With dives, delis, and diners galore, Statesboro is no exception. For an easy night out, hit up the downtown area for Italian fare, soul food, Mediterranean, or classic barbecue. If you're looking for a spot to catch up on some work, take a note from your fellow students by hitting up one of the multiple cafes or coffee shops for a specially prepared espresso drink or decadent sweet. But, when in coastal Georgia, it's the down-home Southern cooking that wins out. With fried chicken, okra, macaroni and cheese, collard greens, and cobbler on the menu, you'll be glad that most places here operate with a "meat and three" state of mind.
