She had no idea that I was going to do this and no idea what Lunar would be like. It turned out to be far more than we expected. The food and drink were exceptional, both in taste and presentation. The service was a refreshing return to the time when staff cared about who come in and how they were dealt with, from the moment we walked through the door to when we were given the guided tour afterwards. From chicken pie to steak, risotto, chicken parfait to tarts tatin all superb Local bar also part of the pub restaurant which was nice to see. Only negative was one of the bar proper uppers decided it was ok to vape at the bar - pretty disgusting and staff seemed accepting of this as most diners had left at that point .
